If you get into a fight at school or on the streets unless your excellent at tkd you probably wont win, karate and kung fu are better martial arts to learn in my opinion. tkd is basically a show sport you throw a kick in a real fist fight youll get your ass taken out

Jul 13, 2010 - @Woolfrey ive taken kempo for the past 2 and a half years, i look down on taekwondo because ive been to many tournaments with taekwondo practitioners and they dont really have any sense of fighting. All they do is throw a bunch of meaningless kicks for show to impress the judges..how does that prepare you for anything? if they get in a street fight theyre done.
