Finally Keith and I found a good place and a good day to do a controlled non-padded sparring match. We went to Kapi'olani Park on Memorial Day to do some sparring while our friends hung out and watched. Using our Kung-Fu styles and with good style and flow. No choreography was used, just improved in reacting to strikes.

May 26, 2009 - Yea hes been studying and practicing his Bagua and XingYi Quan. He's gotten a lot better and his re-directions and sticky hand is starting to flow much better and is smoother and more effective too. His internal power and pushing moves are getting stronger too. His hand, palm, fist and application of his Bagua is very much improved. He threw me with his push twice in this fight.

May 26, 2009 - Click this: 0:30 was really nice. I forget if it was a palm or vertical punch to my center, when I kicked and ran right into it and it sent be flying. It dropped me to the ground and before I could kip-up he hit me with his fist intercepting my recovery. Then finished me off, haha.

May 27, 2009 - Well I always wear a hat with some kind of Kanji on it. I usually wear my Ninja hat, but on this day I was wearing a new hat that I got as a birthday present. The Kanji on my new hat means "Faith" I'm also wearing the new shirt I got for my b-day and.... we filmed this at a party for me and everyone who had a b-day in May.

Jun 11, 2009 - haha, yea it can get in the way at times...But I also like testing how long I can keep it on. In very few of our fights has he gotten close enough to hit it down over my eyes or off of my head. I have very good blocks and guards, I'm best at quickly protecting my head. I think a couple of times I've hit my own hat off while striking or blocking. lol
